‘How can graphic design be used to promote tourism in Ghana to young people?’ For this project, I wanted to look at how we can use design in a new form to drive interest in traveling to Ghana. I started off with the question ‘How can graphic design be used to promote tourism in West Africa to young people?’, then went off in a different direction only to find my way back to the question and narrowing it down to Ghana.

What began as a method of identifying the design problem and qualifying my question turned into a maze of possible directions.

The Forest Breathes

What do we know about trees and their behaviour? The forest breathes is a mock exhibition that explores that question and introduces viewers to new found data that reveals trees behaving in ways that are more interactive than what we previously thought.

This proiect consists of the visual branding and poster design intended as promotional materials for this mock exhibition.

DIGI/DISS

This project is a response to an open brief called ‘Ethics through Design: AI’. I tackled the topic of surveillance capitalism and how our data is being stored and manipulated by companies.

DIGI/DISS is a fictional anti-establishment group who responds to surveillance capitalism through targeted campaigns displayed across various platforms in the year 2049.

Exhibition 2049

Expo 2049 is an exhibition that takes place in the year 4000 looking back at the evolution of artificial intelligence in 2049. The exhibition was a collaborative project showcasing artefacts and footage centred on the theme of AI.

This collaborative project covered the work of three designers including my project DIGI/DISS.

UN Postcards

Print Design

In 2015, the United Nations introduced the Sustainable Development Goals, a set of 17 urgent priorities that must be met in order to ensure “peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future.” To promote these goals, I developed a series of A5 postcards, each calling out a specific goal through the use of semantic typography.
